HM Sicily (Italy) 2026
02/02/26
The History Makers journey in Sicily has been a very encouraging step forward for our work in Italy. In September 2025, Kevin visited several churches across the island to share the vision of History Makers and invite leaders to join the upcoming training. The visit was warmly received by pastors and church members alike, creating a strong foundation of trust and expectation. This led to the first module on 14–16 November 2025 at Hotel Scala Greca in Siracusa, where twenty‑seven leaders—including six pastors from different denominations—gathered for a weekend of teaching, prayer, and fellowship. Participants shared how themes such as intimacy with God and integrity spoke deeply to them, and the atmosphere was marked by openness and a desire to grow. The second module, held on 12–14 February 2026, continued this momentum as participants returned with testimonies of personal growth and practical changes in their ministries, showing that the eight core values were already taking root in their daily lives.
The training journey concluded with the graduation of sixteen participants, celebrating their commitment and perseverance throughout the process. The Sicily leadership team worked with dedication and consistency, ensuring that the programme was well organised, relationally strong, and spiritually meaningful. Their efforts have been key to re‑establishing History Makers in Italy after several years of pause. Feedback from participants has been very positive, with many expressing gratitude for the clarity, encouragement, and practical tools they received. This renewed chapter of History Makers Italy represents a strategic investment in emerging leaders across the region, and we look forward to seeing the long‑term fruit of this training in their churches and communities.
