HM Romania 2025

28/08/25

From 18th to 23rd August 2025, the HM Journey took place in the scenic region of Făgăraș, Romania. The event brought together participants from four local churches for a week of learning, fellowship, and spiritual growth.

Throughout the programme, the group engaged in a variety of sessions and outdoor activities designed to inspire leadership and deepen faith. The atmosphere was marked by openness, joy, and a strong sense of community, with several heartfelt testimonies shared.

Testimonies

Gabriel Boldura, national missionary for Josiah's Venture, wrote: "I have heard about this conference for many years, but summers were always too busy for me. This year, I have prioritized it, and I am so glad that I did. I appreciated the workshops where I worked specifically on projects I have in mind. The SMART goals are a great tool for me. Thank you, team!"

Luisa Sarpe, a university student in Arad, wrote: "At this stage in my life, I needed a time like this to think about my vision for my life. I know now that I am here for a reason, and life is not only about my career but about making an impact in the ongoing history God is writing. The picture is getting clearer to me now!"

Rebeca Iacob, a brilliant young teenager with great potential in her life, had a tough upbringing growing up on her own; her mother left when she was 12, leaving her to raise her younger sister and care for their ailing father. She wrote: "I understand so much what it means not to have things. I don't have many things, but I have so much more than the kids I have served this summer in a camp. I will definitely work with them, bringing light where there is so much darkness."

Denisa Culea, a teenager whose father committed suicide 3 years ago, wrote: "I understand that God has a purpose for my life, even if that means for my 'best friend' to be taken away. He was so much against faith and God that he wouldn't have let me get involved with the church. Although it is difficult to process all that, I know now that God has a plan for my life." She spoke more with my wife about all this struggle. She is a promising young girl.
